TAKING CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY
Preserve the beauty, shine, and durability of your jewelry.
A FEW TIPS
Taking good care of your jewelry will help maintain its splendor and shine over time. Here are some useful tips for keeping your jewelry in top condition.
Preserve the shine
All AEC Paris jewelry is made of stainless steel; however, it is still important to follow the guidelines below to ensure they remain in good condition over time:
- Jewelry can lose its shine when exposed to open air for an extended period. Therefore, your jewelry should always be stored away from sunlight and hot places, ideally in a jewelry box or its original pouch. Under no circumstances should you keep your jewelry in a bathroom or any humid environment.
- We recommend removing your jewelry with great care before sleeping, showering, or participating in any physical activity.
- Exposure to certain chemicals or environmental factors can compromise the integrity of jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to: sweat, perfumes or colognes, cleaning products, chlorine, saltwater, polishes, etc.
DO'S AND DON'TS
Cleaning Your Jewelry
Mix a bit of soap with warm water and scrub the item using a soft toothbrush. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewelry with hard-to-reach corners. If dirt remains, repeat the process in clean water.
THE NO-GO'S
- Avoid exposure to any strong chemicals, such as perfumes and cosmetic products.
- Avoid contact with chlorine, sand, and saltwater.
- Remove them before any exercise or physical activity to protect them from additional impact and sweat.
- Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
